Summer doesn't kick off until tomorrow, but omgosh I’m already exhausted…between weddings, pre-wedding activities and birthday after birthday after birthday {clearly some of our parents were quite active in the late summer/fall season}… I can barely keep up. However, please believe me when I say I’m working on some proper summer travel posts…from trips to guest blogs to essentials (fashion and product)...so stay tuned!!!

Unfortunately, I’m on a slight travel hiatus because I’m saving for the fall destination weddingS (yes that’s an S) and spending time in the new business (A Toast to Art). Buttttt with the biggest holiday falling in the middle of summer (MY BIRTHDAY) I am planning a fun quick trip with friends…more on that in a dedicated post ;-}

So since I’ll be spending a lot of time in my city this summer (per the attempt of being fiscally responsible), here are some fun local places you’ll catch me…

*Braves game – what is summer without a good baseball game, beer and hot dogs

*Sweet Auburn Lounge –  Between gorgeous waitstaff, hookah, celebrity clientele and great drinks, this new lounge has already proved to be the best happy hour/people watching spot ;-)

*WindDown Wednesday – Centennial Park’s free summer concert series

*My Pool- gotta keep the chocolate tan in tact

*Patio hopping – some of my faves: TinLizzys, Prickly Pear, Barcelona Wine Bar, Loca Luna, Noche, Einstein’s (not the bagel spot), LaFonda, CafeCirca(rooftop), West Egg

*High Museum - New York’s MoMa teams up with Atlanta’s High Museum to bring “Picturing New York| Picturing the South – collections of photography

*Picnic in Piedmont Park – ceviche and cervezas {nom nom}

*Atlanta Rocks – for the athletic girl in me? (don’t laugh)

*Fox Theater Movie Night – catch a classic like Sound of Music on the biggest screen in Atlanta

*Imagine it! Children’s Museum – I owe my niece Chloe a date with Aunty Kay

*Overnight trip to Savannah – yummy Seafood and Atlantic Ocean

*A Toast to Art – cheap plug

Please don’t judge me if I take a last minute jaunt…NY, Philly, LaLa Land, Miami and San Diego are really calling my name…surely the airline gods will run some super sizzling deals for me ;-) You know I get antsy if I go too long without kissing the sky *besos*

 Let me not forget my June brides ;-)
